COAL CITY FM CELEBRATES DINNER AND AWARD NIGHTS IN GRAND STYLE

Radio Nigeria Coal City FM has celebrated the second edition of its Dinner and Award Night with a promise to remain the number one in all segments of broadcasting.

The event, which took place at the Sam Nwaneri Event Centre, Broadcasting House Enugu featured award to many notable personalities for their achievements and contributions to the society.

The diner and award night is organized annually by the Station to felicitate with the listener and give thanks to God for a successful year.

It also provides opportunity to celebrate icons and their giant strides.

In a speech on the occasion, the Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Enugu National Station, Mr. Ike Okere commended the people and urged them to remain and support the station in its efforts to become the culture hub of the community in Enugu.

“Everything we have been doing in this past one and half years has been to try to make sure that we become the hub of the community here in Enugu. Let us know what you want to hear on your station and we can assure you that we will try to give it to you.”

Mr. Okere congratulated recipients of the Achievers Award and encouraged them to continue to be of service to humanity.

ma expressed satisfaction with Management of Radio Nigeria Enugu for rebranding Coal City FM, and advised everyone to remain committed.

“We commend the efforts of the Coal City and we pledge that we will continue to help them, encourage them and also patronize them.”

Earlier, the General Manager of Coal City FM, Lady Joy Obitulata solicited assistance in the area of mobility to enhance operation of the Station.

“We believe that with the efforts of well meaning Nigerians and the government, this challenge shall be over.”

The General Manager thanked the Zonal Director for visionary leadership and friends of the station for their partnership.

Three of the award recipients, Chief Ben Etiaba, Mrs. Vivian Amadife and Chief Eugene Odo appreciated the initiative of the Station and promised to also do more to the service of humanity.

“It is something to motivate me to doing more; I have to continue with whatever I’m doing to make sure that I make people happy; it makes it to spur us further to do whatever we are doing to contribute to the society,” they said.

The event was attended by dignitaries from within and outside the State.
